JiaCheng Church

I am one of a handful of foreigners who attend JiaCheng Church, a small Taiwanese church in Dashe. The services are all in Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese, but we also have an English cell group that meets after the morning service.  Going to JiaCheng Church has helped me learn Chinese more quickly; I don’t pick up very much from the sermons because the language is too difficult, but I have been learning to recognize more characters and to understand more Christian vocabulary through singing the worship songs.  What a joy it is to worship in another language!  While attending this church it has been a blessing to branch out and meet new people, to experience worshiping with true believers in another language and place, and to find avenues of ministry in the local community.
